Why are we blogging?

Of course our primary reason for blogging is to sell our items--

BUT--

1. We like to talk about what we think,

2. And find out what YOU think,

3. And share news that intrigues us,

4. And books we are reading.

5. And our favorite quotations.

6. We need to know what you think about our products.

7. We crave sharing ideas--even those we disagree with, and we'll tell you why we disagree, then hope you'll answer back.

8. We won't use nasty language or sexually oriented language, and trust you won't either; if you do, we won't quote that part!

   1. Please note that Debby uses language she doesn't use herself in her YA books--never in Middle Grades--because that's the way kids talk. Sexuality is a normal part of life. Debby prefers anatomically correct language because her father taught anatomy, but that's not what most people use.

   2. Debby and Linnea will block or report "nasty" responders and threats.

9. We enjoy sharing the events that have shaped us and hearing what has shaped others. Warning--Debby might use something in her writing, but would NOT use any identifying information, and if it is sensitive (and she has your e-mail) she will contact you, tell you exactly how she intends to use it, so you can say NO or set guidelines.

10. Debby sometimes needs humor to brighten up serious writing, so don't hesitate to tell something funny. Debby will always re-cast an event to fit her contents.
